We talked about what my idea were and which one's had the best making for a good topic paper. I decided that my topic would be how the usage of the "n" word has changed from the past versions and how people don't understand just how powerful and hurting the word was.
I like that you are going to incorpate that into racial inequality. Make sure you give good, detailed examples to support your thesis, so people have an understanding of why you are talking about that. Overall, I like your topic a lot and I believe you can really show people how this is blacks are still affected by this.

ReplyDeleteI think this will be an interesting paper to write. The most interesting part is that the word has always been bad, but now it seems that African Americans throw the word around just as much. It is extremely important for people to realize how serious using a racial slur like that is!
